Time for a new chain and sprockets for my trusty 'Alp
A while back I asked for pointers in the PE area, thinking that I'd support a Dog rather than "big business", and a member said he could supply. Jawellnofine...!!! Despite me getting back to said member, twice, via PM, I'm still waiting for a price.
With no response forthcoming, I asked Tannie Google, and found Raceparts in Cape Town.
The process was easier than falling off a log
, and after placing my order last Thursday, I received the whole lot on Monday afternoon, with a nicely personalised "Thank You" card.
I also received no less than 5 emails, updating me on the process of picking, packing and dispatching the parts. A thumbs-up to them!
It's service like this that will make me support then in future
