Jezabel's joy ride.

Just the two of us started at 08h30 this morning. The idea was to do a not to hectic ride out to Harties to get to know each other.  Started with the canal out to Beestekraal and then thru Mooinooi and then the highway over Breedsnek. The canals where full with a bit of mud every now and then. From Beestekraal to the start of Breeds was uneventful. The bridge on the north side was almost completely washed away but passable for bikes. Stopped at the top of Breeds to watch the weather playing out in the south. Then the ride really started with the hail and the rain coming down, there was no shelter. It was a case of just take it like a man. Soaking wet but this Girl couldn't give a sh!t about the conditions and on we went.

Ja nee, daai bike was nou al straight, skeef en nou weer straight! :imaposer: Ek het die oorspronklike Jap import geken, maar nou sal ek haar glad nie meer herken nie, behalwe miskien aan die goue rims en talon hubs!!

It looks like you had a whale of a time...

I recognised the bike on Friday from the golden wheels and the matt black plastics...

As I said in the other thread , the DR just looked like it wanted to go offraod when it cruised past me on Beyers Naude on Friday...

Made me feel like going home and fetching the bike and ditch the cage.
