Yup, Petra is an awesome place to visit. If you ever have the chance to go, you must do it! I did a quick visit to Jordan (4 days), living in Qatar makes it easy, as Jordan is not so far away (02h45 flight). I visited the Dead Sea, Kerak Castle, Petra and Jerash, and drove through lots of small villages. It is truly a beautiful country, but not everyone's cup of tea!!
