Ok, I needed a 17mm counterbore tool. so, I decided just to make one.
First try was a pure hand jobbie where I took the 17mm drill and converted that to a FLAT face tool. That worked 90% but the final hole was 18mm due to the fact that the two cutting edges werent 100% similar.
Next was to mount the angle grinder in the lathe and make a 'proper' tool. The final çlearance' took some thinking to get right.
Now I can sharpen the tool 100% each time.
