Lekker verslag. Die Karoo is baie, baie spesiaal.

We arrive in Prins Albert late Afternoon and find the Hotel fully booked. The Lamborghini Boys are in Town and have booked the whole Place. So we booked the Place next to it. We shower and have a wonderful Dinner across the Street. The Owner/Host/ Chef is a Lady in her 50's with an Arse of a 30 Year old. After 2 Glasses of Wine I crack and compliment her on her Assets.She graciously accepts the Compliment. We have a few more Drinks and I tell the Lummels that I'm retiring early. They choose to stay out longer and I wonder waste kak hulle nou weer gaan aanjaag.

Mmmmm a pic of said assets would be better than the Lambo's..............

Great report Ernst. Daai Swartberg was laas week dik gesneeu. Maandag op pad terug van Odn af was dit 32 Grade en die berg wit gesneeu.

Dankie Dewald ons het die Weer dopgehou hier en ons het hom reg gelees, was bietjie koud die eerste twee Dae maar daarna was die Karoo op sy beste , ek haar nog nooit so gesien nie, elke Dam was vol en by elke afsaal het ek vir die Manne gevra: Het Julie die Veld geruik? Men's kan nie daar wegbly nie as sy so blom nie.

For my sins i live and work in JHB. Best time of my day is when i get to ride my bike to work. Many a morning when i say goodbaai to the wife to leave for work i will note that i will phone u from Merweville/Carnarvon . . . Absolutely love the Karoo Great great ride report . . . GOEIE WERK !

Dankie JK, thing is Merweville is eintlik 'n kak Plek but something draws me back every Time. 6 Months ago I trailered there for the third Time and while Braaing we realised that we don't have Salt and Pepper. So my Buddy says he'll go over to the Neighbors and get some. An Hour later he's back, drunk like a Sailer. Those People don't get much contact with the outside World and he insisted that they wouldn't let him go. At least he had 2 moerse Salt and Pepper Potte with him. Next Morning we went over to return them and we had to sit and have Koffie and Beskjuit with them. Problem is, one is always in a hurry, if you take the Time you will meet interesting Folk and/or Places, even in Richmond and Phillipolis.
