I have been struggling with an intermittent (now quite regular) misfire on my KLR 650 (Fugly). Especially at low revs
I have tried, tested, cleaned and replaced a couple of suspected components but the misfire is still there.
Next on the possible culprit list is the CDI.
I have tested the resistance combinations and some of them are out of spec. My gut feeling is that the CDI will either work or fail, rather than causing intermittent misfires.
However it is not according to spec.
Can someone please help me with the following....
I am looking for a working CDI to test if replacing mine will resolve the problem.
If your only CDI is on your bike... I can come over and show you how to take it out of your bike, and test it on another bike whilst you are supplied with beer. :ricky:
