Hello all,
I want to first place this bike here before it goes to the general for sale section as I believe the guys looking at this part of the forum appreciate some of the more classic type of motorcycle.
Some history:
I bought this bike in 98 from a dodgy bike shop in Pretoria West when I was still a student. I cleaned it up and got it into ridable condition which then also let me do the police clearance and register the bike. It does smoke like a 2stroke though! I then used it for a few years but then moved overseas only to return to a really sad looking Z.
I did bring her back to life a few years ago, but really had a hard time getting the float levels right and the t-piece that connects the 2 banks of carbs also leaks. I have wanted to start the full restoration process and all the parts are available mostly from Japan, but at this point in my life, I don't think I would be able to do so.
According to the engine and frame numbers its of the Z750RS stable but the previous owner didn't want this and changed the the barrels to the 903. :xxbah:
It is registered in my name and licence up to date too.
Anyway Kawasaki guys, who is keen?
