I bought this KLE500 a few years ago, I did a 14 day tour through Namibia with it and then I bought my Africa Twin, so its been standing a few years
The bike ran very well, all it needed was a battery and a starter clutch, I had a new starter clutch put in, new battery and then I never rode it. I funally decided to pull it into the workshop and get her running again to use as a delivery bike at work
What has happened is that a magnet came loose in the flywheel and then the repair job smoothed out the stator, so I started pull ing it apart and then figured I was only fixing it to have something to do, I really dont need the bike so im selling it as a project to someone else.
Comes with Touring screen, wide foot pags, upgraded exhaust & pannier racks
So she needs a flywheel and a stator
Ill put her back together and pull her skirt up
Make me an offer around R15k or Ill just strip it and sell it for parts
