Bike died on Sun fortunately close to home no electrics at all. Found the solenoid fuse-20a- had blown replaced it popped again -damn- tank off etc eventually found the wire from kill switch had melted and made a bit of a mess with the other wires in the same loom (starter and front brake light switch) no problem unplugged it from under there and replace it -easy !! cost don't know BUT here's the help part the other end is taped up with all the other wire's running under the frame and I notice the short piece with the female side of the plug also looks melted Question is each set of wires insulated separately and then taped together ? IE how many other wires in that "rope" could get burnt ? Agent said (eyes rolling) aah electrics , which doesn't sound too clever.
