KLR International test @ Potberg!

Spoke to a friend yesterday and he said about 15 overseas riders, all on new KLR's stopped at his farm in Napkei and was looking for Potberg Nature Reserve.
Does anyone know whether this was a test or launch or something of a group of guys touring on similar bikes which seems unlikely.
