Just noticed what looked like a bit of oil at the bottom of the radiator.
Turns out, on closer inspection, that the radiator guard/grid has been steadily rubbing the bottom tank and has worn through and made a tiny hole. Invisible to the eye but just lets the fluid seep out.
Another brilliant reason to buy a KLR..........
Anyways, long story short, I don't have the time left to send it in for repair. Going away over the weekend with the bike and need a quick fix. I've got a 2nd hand, slightly bent unit that I'm gonna strap to the bike, just in case.
Any bright ideas on what to seal the hole with? epoxy or similar on the outside? some leak fix stuff addad to the fluid?
