KLR temp Q.

Question to fellow KLR riders.On my last Baviaans outing it was hot berg wind conditions and the temp gauge came up to the three quarter mark before the fan comes on,this on slow riding in 1st and 2nd gear mostly uphill,is this acceptable.The gauge stays on the low-quarter mark otherwise with normal on road riding.
