Hi guys, I recently noticed that my klr gear lever has quite a lot of lateral play on it. I tightened the bolt securing the lever, but the play is still there.
It gets annoying when trying to shift gears with the edge of my boot. I'm scared of damaging the spline cut into the shaft if the shifter is loose.
Is the lateral play in the lever normal?
Can anybody tell me where I can get a replacement lever? Preferably an all metal one, I don't like the rubber coated one that comes standard.
