I finally got around to fitting some knobbly tyres, got a fairly good price for some lightly used TKC80s.
Wow, you do sacrifice a lot of grip on these. TC light was like a christmas tree this morning on the way to work :lol8:
Should I be running the same tyre pressures for theses, on the street, as the TA2? Is there any theory on how to make em last longer (besides not riding like a loon)?
As a side note, After riding in about 8 guys dust on Sunday I thought it a good idea to check the airbox last night. UNI Setup worked brilliantly....and overkill I reckon as the airbox was spotless, but even the actual filter was spotless. Everything was stopped by the intake socks and Pre-filter. Intake socks have fallen apart though. They don't seem to be very hardy.
Looks so good with the knobs
