Kosi Bay to Sodwana along the Coast

I am planning to do a trip in July to Swaziland (in at the North and out at Jozini/Pongola at the South) and then on to Kosi Bay and down the coast to Sodwana. maybe a dive or two along the way.

Has anyone done the "coastal road" for want of a word recently. My comrades have 1200's and I fear it might be a gesukkel (albeit only a 100 odd km stretch) than an actual enjoyable trip.

Any suggestions on literature or websites that might be helpful?
