2017 KTM 1090 Adventure R for sale. This bike took me through most of South
America for 4.5 years. It's been on tar, gravel, mud, sand, snow, sleet, over
the Andes a bunch of times, through the deserts of Peru and Chile, through
parts of the Amazon, on boats, ferries, planes, ships, and across 8 countries.
And a large chunk of that was heavily loaded, with a pillion.
The last big trip was here in SA, 5000km from CT to DBN, JHB, and back to CT
in Dec 2023/Jan 2024. This is a proper adventure bike, 100% ready for your next big trip right now.
Bike was always serviced between 5000km - 10000km even though the service
interval is 15000km. It's always been well maintained.

- Chain+Sprockets changed in Jan 2024
- Tyres: Mitas E07, changed about 3000km ago (Jan 2024)
- Next service due in about 6000km.

Problems:
- ABS pump needs to be replaced (KTM Cape Town is aware of the problem).
As a result, ABS + traction control do not work. Ride modes work
(eg. I use it in sport mode). Problem occurred 2 years ago in Ecuador.
- There's a small tear on the seat. It's been there for 5 years and does not
affect riding in any way.
