Fellow 2 smoke owners,
I recently took the 300 to Wild West and started to overheat on some of the more technical sections quickly with coolant pissing all over. (not due to overfilling) It seems that the fan does not come on.. Tested Fan, all ok but believe the issue is with the thermostat switch.
Bought a replacement from Midas as per another post on the forum (FS2005) Thought about the bypass and handle bar manual switch but will try the thermostat replacement 1st. What are the exact steps involved?
Drain the coolant, replace switch, fill up with coolant? What would the torque setting be for the switch and can i do the replacement from the side or do i need to remove tank etc.
Thanks Again
