Good morning All
What are the chances that any of you have a spare idle adjustment cable / knob thingie lying around collecting dust that you would be willing to sell to me please.
The bike I bought did not have this cable attached, one of the previous owners removed it, and I need to have an easy way to get the idle right on the old girl vs opening up the the airbox to get to the carbs and adjusting this manually.
When I got her she was idling low at about a 1000/1100 revs, and would cut out at stops if I did not have the choke out to keep the revs up.
My one neighbour helped me up the revs as per the description above, which was great, but it seems to have dropped again. I would imagine that the screw may be working it's way out slightly as it is not under any pressure like it would be with the adjustment cable.
