I want to open my clutch cover to check torque specs on the 6 retaining bolts on my 990 before a long trip I am planning. This is just for peace of mind and it should be done every 15000 km and not sure if this has been done by ktm on my bike.
-From what I can figure out torque specs are 10nm plus oil proof loctite? correct?
-Do I just lay the bike on it's side and open it up? From what I read the o-ring on the clutch cover is reusable?
- Also clutch cover bolt specs? 8 or 10nm?
Any tips?
Thanks guys.
