One of my friends has a KTM 990S, he did a 14000km trip, in the process he had gearbox problems on the bike on his way back, to cut a long story short, the bike was fixed by KTM, replacing all damaged part and more, no cost spared. He received the bike back, everything is fine, except the clutch, if pulled in, you can feel a slight vibration on the lever, if lever is released nothing, very irritating, he knows his bike, spend 2 months every day on it and he knows it was never like that.
When KTM was contacted, he was told it will start to make like that with age??? ???
I was thinking that it can be that the clutch plates did not go back in the same sequence it was removed an d it needs to bed in again??
May be anybody else know of something else? The bike has 27000km on now.
