One of my riding buddies went on a trip with his 990R to Namibia, on his way back the bikes revs just stayed at 5000rpm, it could rev higher but it would not drop below 5000rpm. He struggled like that and after a bit of riding and the switching on/off ect. the bike is 100% again. Does anybody know what could cause this? I am sure it will happen again. He did the 15min reset thing a couple of times.
