On the trip up to Malawi, the rear brake on the KTM 950 stopped working. I had a problem in the past where is would gradually stop working during the course of a hard ride and then came back when the brake fluid cooled down. I rectified the problem by flushing the old brake fluid and replacing it with the DOT 5.1 stuff recommended in the manual.
However this time it stopped working all together and has not worked since. I have been riding like that since the 3rd day of the trip to Malawi and yesterday on the way to the office I nearly got killed as I could not stop in time for an idiot that turned in front of me.
I have check the brake fluid and taken the rear caliper off everything seems fine. The brake pedal depresses all the way down without any effect at all.
Any ideas on where to start looking...
