My good friend Melt gave me ring on Sat and asked me to join him for a track session at Aldo Scribante race course. I always wondered about the big KTM's track ability and didn't think twice.
So armed with our helmet cams we took to the track and boy oh boy did we have a jol.

The big fat KTM blew me away with its fantastic handling round the track. Melt and Francois also took it for a few laps and couldn't believe how capable it was, and that with a Maxis knobly on the front. Gooi motard wheels, tune the suspension and who knows what this thing would be capable of.
Q8 and his other half also arrived later in a cage(moffie). He took Melt's GSX-R for a couple of laps, loved it, but not his cup of tea. I agreed, because dual purpose rules man!

We really had a blast and I would recommend  track days to all the Wild Dogs. We do alot of our riding on the black stuff and  together with having fun, it will most definitely improve your riding skills.

We took some video of ou outing. Busy editing, butI'll gooi it on Youtube when its done.

Here some pics.

The big trailies certainly are quite capable on the track.  I was at a Triumph track day once, at Zwartkops, and the 955 Tigers certainly kept us on our toes!

No doubt about the skill you gain gunning around a track though.

Have always been keen to do a track day......I did arrive at some track days and saw that all had enjoyed it immensely,

To me it I find it daunting.....I must definitely put that on the to do list.... ::) have heard that all have benefitted from it....
