I like the second of the above two. It has a nice feel to the pic. Nice pose and a bit of a lean angle.
The focus is reasonable, and I think it may make a good print at A4 size, and maybe even A3 if you print from the full size one.

The above pic is 900 pix tall, but the full size is 2 500 pix.

Just a note of thanks to the organizers. The venue, the food the company was great. The orange route ride was absolutely fantastic  :thumleft:

Gunda, I would also like pics of me and jnr leaving
The Black and White 650's
At least the white one was still running then :imaposer:
Thanks to the organizers :thumleft:
I had a pretty lady drive me back off the green route :peepwall:
Thanks to all for your assistance, really appreciated

@ouBones

I think these are of Jnr. but I am not sure about you.

This is the only other Dakkie in the set, so yours may be one of the ones I screwed up and just caught a back wheel .

Trying to catch moving bikes leaving so close together is a bit like clay pigeon shooting, and I was never much good at that. I need more practice, and I am moerse sorry if I missed you.

Once again an awesome bash, good to back in the dirt  ;D. Slabbed it there on Friday after work and had my first surprise, my tent which was abused the previous weekend by some friends at the Dragon Rally, was damaged. I never noticed the zips on the door was torn out. So now I have a free flow tent. At least I had a tarp to put over, but in freezing conditions, I had one of the coldest sleeps ever  :-\. At least the company was awesome in the pub before that, Great catching up with everyone in between my power naps  :imaposer:

Gunda and Oubones  were kind enough to offer me there respective spare tents for Saturday and Bones put it up, so at least I was snug and warm Saturday night.

Had a great ride on the green route on Saturday and a quick afternoon nap before the rugby. Then a watched the Lions suffer and kuiered lekker in between another few power naps, only to get a second or was that 5th wind later that evening and had a rocking time with those still awake. After the DJ Slimjim called it a night we tried to wake the rest up with the classic "Ek laaik kaas bra ......" but people were to scared to even swear us and played dead  :imaposer:

I did hear some murmurs around camp the next morning .... " Watse crap van kaas was daar gisteraand laat he ?" :laughing4:

After packing up and good byes I decided to head to Himeville and do Lower Loteni Rd and  Hella Hella pass on the way to home. Somewhere on LL I missed Himeville and ended up at Impendle and from there to Bulwer, Then HH, Richmond, Umlaas Rd and finally a stop at home aka the pub  :thumleft:

Huge shout out to the organisers for a great bash and the food - everything was excellent. Bar prices as well.

Oubones and Bones for the life saving tent

Gunda for the life saving coffee - great seeing you again meneer.

All attendees for many laughs and a great time  :thumleft: :thumleft:

PS Gunda if you have a pic of me leaving it would be great - thanks

Here is a FB video I made of the trips highlights.

I suspect I do, but you know, you big guys on 1200's all look the same with your heads helmeted  >:D

What colour is your bike, jacket and helmet plz  ;D

Quite a few great photos.  :thumleft: Doesn't look as if you need any further training or experience.

Thank you, but I am fully aware of how much I still have to learn about photography.

I enjoy taking photo folk out in my Forester along the back roads I discovered on the bike, and it is humbling to see what some of them can do with scenes I passed many times without noticing. And it's good to open your eyes without just driving or riding through.

So many roads, so much to learn, so little time  ;D

We got home safe last night, after riding some of the back roads. Thankfully the typical Free State cross-wind wasn't too bad. Brekkie at Pig n Plough at Winterton and lunch at Roter Hahn in Clarens made for relaxed cruising along scenic routes. Once again, the KZB Bash was a highlight for my year. You guys are so laidback, you make it look like organising a bash is something you do over a beer one Friday afternoon.... It was absolutely tops! How you folks bamboozled so many of the good local business folk into providing a great goodie bag, and an endless selection of prizes and gifts, leaves my in awe!

"Roxette" appreciated the can of "penetrating oil" she received as a gift, I read the instructions up to the bit about "removes moisture from ignition systems"  and decided to have some more wine... Thanks to Shaun Burne Motorcycles for the sponsorship!  :thumleft:  :thumleft:  :thumleft:

It was super to catch up with all the good folks who ride and talk sh!t and laugh and tell the most outrageous stories. It is an honour and a pleasure to you know you folks!

Hope to see most of you at the Nat Bash in September....  8)
