I really have been amazed at the support that the Wilddog community has shown towards this passion of mine.

Peter

That we can do something makes me feel good. THIS is what WildDog forum SHOULD be about - when we are not out there on bikes or  talking kark between rides.

Peter, an idea - Feasable ?

I remember riding with your colleague at Vet School, Dr Jon,  aka Noble Steed. We stopped along the way, and he was really distressed to see a dog seriously infected by Sarsomethingorother mange, and said that he found it sad that a dog had to suffer for want of a few cents worth of dip.

How about we buy dip from you, you teach us how to tell what mange can be treated by the dip, and then we take and distribute decanted bottles to the owners of the mangy dogs in the rural areas we ride through ?

Could we help the four-leg dogs a bit ? Better than sweets for the kids .

Pete - that's a great Idea!
PM me and we'll chat more! There is already a plan to run a dip clinic at Mfula store, - the dip is pretty cheap and I'll even sponsor some to start!

Hey ! - I love that idea  :thumleft:

I think it's doable - have to be aware of village/chief politics, but if we do things by the book I don't think there will be a problem.

Why it was so windy on Saturday

. . . . . and Tommy had a full bladder and he did not want to stop so he just did the dog-and-lamppost thing, but without a lamppost.
