Any of the KZN Dogs interested in helping out at the Comrades ?
The KZN Motorcycle Federation has a fundraiser going, whereby we need volunteers to help with crowd control along the route. There is no payment, but you will get food and beverages during the day. Guys and gals will be posted all along the route to assist. KZNMF gets paid for every person that volunteer, which assist with raising funds for the Federation.
Even though you might not be a club rider or member of the Federation, you can still help out. Remember the Federation together with President Councils across the country, do not just look after clubs, but also issues relating to all motorcyclists.
Some spots will be a quick thing, finished by about 10.00 / 11.00 when the main body of runners have passed, other spots will be a whole day scenario. As far as I know, unfortunately spots will be allocated and can not be requested.

Comrades Marathon Assistance Required
As you all know, the Comrades Marathon takes place on the 2nd June 2013. The KZNMF (Tubs) have offered to assist them with crowd control and we are calling on our member clubs to assist. We need 100 people on the day to assist with crowd control from Fields Hill, all the way up to Polly Shorts. If each club could spare 2 or 3 members, it will be a great fundraiser for the Federation, as the Comrades committee will pay the KZNMF R150 per person assisting. If we get 100 people that will be R15000!! Members assisting will be given food and beverages on the day.
