If we do this we can use my Forester and trailer as backup vehicle, so if the SWAMBOS are nervous to hop on the pillion they can ride shotgun in the Fozzy.

Happy to see you are in the saddle again :thumleft:

Tell u what S.

There is another waterfall on the Mqeku river, which is about 10Km north of the Msilili falls.

If you come explore the North one with me, I'll show you this on on the way up there.

The one on the Mqeku may be a problem in that it is out of the tribal area of the Valley of 1000 Hills, and into private farmlands, and there the farmers sometimes get mean and nasty when you want to ride about.

I know on the one side there is a caravan park that has "no-bikes" on their website.

Must plan this soon-ish  I'm a little overdue for some off-roading.

Yes you are - we know that !!

And I need to get some riding in before my knee ops in 2nd week Oct - they will keep me out of the saddle for a few weeks.

I phoned the guy from the farm/caravan park on the Mqeku Gorge and he says that this Sunday there are no caravans in the park, so I am welcome to visit the farm on the bike.

Day vistors pay R10 per person - I can do that. He won't be there but he sent me bank details.

He says there is a map of the roads on the farm to the various gorge viewsites in the Caravan Park ablution block.

So I am sinking zat Sunday vil be zee gud day to visit ze Cherman part of ze Country - Wartburg, New Hanover, Wartburg und Schroeders. Mainly tar, but a bit of farm riding.

Und ze vezzer looks gud on Sunday.

I can't ride Saturday - I'm doing a GPS course for Mr Badger's BMW Eco Challengers at Ryder Motorad in Hillcrest.

I'll put up a Planning Fred. ?

Next 3 weekends are not do-able for me....when's your op....I'm free that 2nd weekend on Oct.....the 8th and the 9th.
