Ok - I seem to have spent what I could on Ilze's chair and must just again give a massive thank you to all those fantastic and caring people that as total strangers, to me and Ilze - jumped at the opportunity to help and contribute towards helping this amazing lady.
We do however have to make a decision on what to do with the balance (remainder) of the funds collected, and although I will make some suggestions, we would start a vote on whatever suggestions were put forth.
Your input would therefore be appreciated.
My suggestions:
1. Donate balance of funds to PAW to be used specifically to create facilities (Bathroom) or Wheelchair ramps should there be a need to allow
wheelchair bound people to access PAW premises?
2. Place the funds into a kitty (controlled by a nominated member) - which could be used to supply Wilddog paraphanalia on behalf of the
WD Forum to "other" people that may have limited abilities, who are perhaps taken on rides by members?
3. Obtain a list of wheelchair users from CE Mobility that may need assistance?
Obviously Ilze's input here would be greatly appreciated.
