When my wife wakes up in the morning and says "I think it will be a beautiful day for riding" I dont argue. We took the tar to Riversdale and took the turoff to the Korentepoortdam. If KZN has the Valley of a thousand hills then this is the valley of 50
hills of the SC. This is a powerslideliftyourfrontwheeloutofturns road or a slow poddle along look at nature. If you take the first
option please beware the fastest vehicle Ive met on that road is the local milktruck. It is fast and wide. You will die. Keep
on your side of the road.

And lowwaterbridges.
The turnoff to the Gysmanshoekpass.
Someone added a gate here since the last time I was here.
We were useing a slightly faster mode of transport!
Brandnew. The old ones kept on washing away every year.

I even stopped for a flower!!
Lots of dairyfarms in this area.
Also brandnew....
But this is whats left of the old one two years ago!!
We turned towards Heidelberg and had a bite to eat. Headed in the direction of Witsand and turned left for
Vermaaklikheid.
Is this yellow or what?! Canola in flower.
Going over the Duiwenhoksriver.
The little town of Vermaaklikheid. Time has stood still here but not the propertyprices!! Expect to pay in the
millions for a dwelling. Only dirtroads reach it.
The local restuarant and pub.
We took the road all along the coast passed Blombos and Jongensfontein.
We went to the whaleviewpoint in Stillbay and yes there where one that we could see. Always nice to have
our big friends back.
We rode 202km from 11.00 to 16.15. It was good to be out there and great to be alive!!
