Laptop in topbox?

Anyone commute with a laptop in a topbox? I do about 100km's each day, pta->bryanstan, and back, just worried the vibrations might kill the laptop in the topbox, or should I not worry? The laptop will be in a bag and then in the top box.
Also any recommended topboxes? Should I go the BMW route (I ride a '05 1200GS) or something aftermarket? would be nice if I can store my helmet and jacket in there when I get to work and take the laptop out.
