Driffie postponed wednesday zuurberg to r400 and my gat was jukking.
Woke up this morning and pulled kit on. No plan , just ride. Turned left off the elandsriver road headed to the hage for fuel. Out the hage towards fresher air and graafreinet. Took the first dirt road on the left, hillwacht the sign said. Because i never was on that road so why not.....the road makes a loop back to the hage. :xxbah:, Back to graafreinet road and onwards, took the 2nd dirt road left - cockscomb it said i think.
The road is in very good condition, they must be sending graders from willowmore to repair it, not normal for ec dirt.
There are a couple of turn offs to glenconner and baroe but i kept stright on towards steytlerville. Right at thd end of the road i hit a board that said Grootrivier left. I was tempted , but not solo in the heat. Brekkie always lekker at the royal on the stoep.
The countryside is dry, looks terrible, not a drop of water anywhere, just about no green vegetation of any sort, temparature was between 35 and 42 degress.
