Guys, today a group of us rode the LDBA Orange route with Rieks.....................all i can say is WOW!! :eek7: Rieks has really put together a very special route! The scenery is absolutely spectacular! The roads are awesome, some really challenging technical sections but mostly 2 spoor roads winding through indigenous forests, bushveld, gorges and even a game reserve or 2! Todat we saw various Antelope, Impala, kudu, and Wildebeest, but we were also treated to a sighting of a Rhino with her calf all from the saddle of a bike!! Where else are bikers going to get the opportunity to ride like this, Rieks has organized this route with the property owners who have agreed to let us ride through their reserves for the event. She has also arranged fantastic accomodation at the Forever Resorts Badplaas, and lunch stops at exclusive lodges. I experience some of these places today, and can assure you that this event is going to be a good one and probably will happen on a yearly basis.
