Hi All, I am writing this as there are a lot of lean running BMW's out there. I have done a bit of research on this and came up with (it looks like) the solution. Yesterday I ordered a AM4 for my GS. What it basically does is change the ambient air temperature sensors reading by dropping it by 20 degrees C. Therefore enrichening the fuel injections delivery of fuel quantity to the injectors, BUT only under acceleration. When cruising, it reverts back to the Lamda Sensors for mixture, so no heavy fuel consumption. I am going to fit it and give you all feedback on how I find it works.
