So a few weeks ago, on an early morning ride I could not get my headlights to switch on. After some prodding at the ignition the lights popped on. I purchased the bike with HID converted bulbs and due to my lack of knowledge thought nothing of it, but I noticed that my reflective housing of my high beam was burnt moer toe.
I managed to source a second hand light and then with the advice and recommendation of @AndyF , I ordered 2 LED's from him. What Great customer service this chap offers. I contacted him on the forum and the next day my package was couriered to me. Andy recommended the V series H3 and H7 LED's each pushing out 4000 lumens and what is really lekker is that he backs his product up with a 2 year warranty. He was also available to help me get everything hooked up correctly. A very lekker experience.
While replacing the light I also dismantled my ignition and cleaned it up a bit. The plastic housing is brittle and it takes some patience. Now my bike is all back together and it even looks faster! I am yet to try my new globes out in the dark, but they look considerably brighter than the previous ones during the day.
My old reflective housing is burnt and discolored but I would like to get it fixed or redone. Does anybody have any contacts or advice to do this or have it done?
Cheers
Karl
