AfricanSky, the youngest boy was 9years old. He was lifted by his dad.
The youngest boys on there own bikes was 14years old.
On Friday we did 240km from 10h00 to 21h00
On Saterday we did 85km from 09h00 to 18h30
Sunday we did 220km from 10h00 to 17h00
In the technical sections ( mud and rocks ) the lads coped better than the dads since there bikes were much lighter.
What an unforgettable experience :thumleft:

No worries - your route does not include the crazy sections.  Attempting those solo would be stoopid.
Although there are some sections where the scenery will be second priority...

Lekker dominee.

Stunning, thanks for sharing. I don't think anyone that haven't themselves been through that valley between
Mantsonyane and Semonkong will fully appreciate what you have achieved. And that with the kids. Respect!

Beutiful  :3some:  and some hard riding done there , must have been very satisfying , at least afterwards ?  :mwink:

Hi Michiel, thanks - having been down there you know....  The sad part is that we did not even stop at the auntie Chief's place for a chat - we just waved as we went past.....  I did not want to stop the entire group, it takes some time to get the whole train going again and time was few, so I decided to rather keep going and fight the mountain in good light and weather.

Will stop over again next time.

Baie goed gedoen Stefan en almal, sal graag so iets eendag met my seun wil doen, regtig bevange  :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft:

Respect SGB for getting 15 bikes through there in a day. If you'd ask me I would have told you it won't be possible. In January Michiel, Remote Operated Vehicle Rat and myself did a fair amount of road reconstruction on the Semongkong side of the valley. Maybe that's the reason you guys could scoot through there so easily  :amazon:
If those lads moms would have had the slightest inclination of where you guys were going to drag their sons through you would have had a war on your hands.  :eek7:
