We wanted to do a trip where we would follow some of the not so well kown routes in Lesotho, avoiding tar and main gravel roads as far as possible and try and do as much as possible 2 spoor paadjies. It would be a 3 day trip. I am not gonna write a lot, I would rather let the pictures and videos tell the story.

Since the journey up Jockstrap pass was the highlight I would post it first. A big thanks to Twister for spending a lot of time compressing the video's. Click on the image to open the video:

Day 1: CallieB, Twister and myself left Bloemfontein early the Friday morning and our first stop would be coffie at Coetzee Zietsman in Clocolan. From there we went thru Peka bridge over Buthe Buthe, Oxbow and followed Kao-mine road to the northern tip of Katse dam. From there we followed the 2 spoor paadjie, first on the Eastern side and then on the western  side to Katse lodge where we stayed the Friday evening.

Day 2: We left Katse traveled north to Seshote and tuned of onto the northern part of “Village chief road” The route made a loop and we refueled at Thaba Tseka. From there all the way past Mohale dam were we turned onto the 2 spoor southwards towards Blackneck pass and eventually Jockstrap pass. From there to Ramabanta were we stayed Saterday night.

Day 3:
Just north of Ramabanta we tuned west onto a 2 spoor and stayed on small gravel and bees paadjies until until we reached the Caledon river about 20km south of Maseru. From there we followed the Caledon all the way to Maseru gate and took a gravel roud to Bloem.
