I bought this little Aprillia 650 Pegasso allegedly, for the wife, a year ago.
Put a new taller screen on, decent tyres and generally got it into a very reliable neat bike.
a friend says to me that wants to buy a bike, but he is not sure what size, so I say, take my 650 for a spind and at least you will know what a 650 feels like and then you can decide if you want something bigger, or more nimble.
He has a bike license, so he can ride a bike.
I was going away for the weekend, so I let him have the bike and leave for Thyspunt to go spearfishing.
I get back on Sunday to " have you heard ?"
Heard what ?
The guy had a crash and he is now in hospital with four broken ribs and other small injuries.
Where did this happen.
Near Ann's Villa.
The little spin turned into a trip to the Zuurberg mountains.
The bike is seriously second hand and even my spotless Arai helmet is stuffed.
This is a life lesson learnt.
