It is good to see that it rained in that area
Hoping the water levels of the Tzaneen and Ebenezer dams will rise a bit

I towed Gerrit to Die Eiland where his wife picked him up with a bakkie. Tobie and I completed the route

I simply can't believe, there are people in complete denial right now.

Next morning we set off towards Leydsdorp and were lucky to see a lot of game riding through all the game farms towards Hoedspruit.  Our plan was to ride up to Mariepskop as Tobie has never been. Riding along the bottom of the mountain at Kampersrus, it looked like we should at least have a bit of a view, but after a very wet and slippery ascent up the mountain, everyting was covered in clouds.

We then went about the tricky descent on wet red clay down the mountain and had a fantastic ride to Hazyview where we stopped for petrol and a late lunch

Lunch took a bit longer than expected and after we filled with fuel, it was nearly 16:00. We head towards Bakenkop Pass via Kiepersol

From Bakenkop we cross the Sabie / White River road and head to Hendriksdal on tar. Another short stretch of tar from there before we get to this fantastic bit of riding that links the Sabie/Nelspruit road with Brondal road.

One very dirty 790 after a wet and muddy weekend of riding.

Do you remove the number plate for fear of losing it?

Or is it just a bad habit? >:D

I've not made one for the new bike yet...... :peepwall:
