Long distance commute

Hi guys and gals,

I'm starting a job that's +-120km from where I live.

I'm considering commuting for 6 months or so, until I decide whether I relocate, or the job description changes allowing me to get the job done without having to commute.

Any thoughts on such a long distance tar commute, and any bike suggestions?
Let's keep options budget friendly.

It's 120km 1 way all on hiway.

Advice is appreciated.
