Had a nice group of like minded riders keen on a long ride , but now all the partners are indisposed for the planned trip dates and the ride went pear shaped . Was close to pulling the trigger on very nice accommodation , but this has been shelved .
Then one of the guys messaged me and said we could still go , and suggested a meander with a pitstop sleep over , then on to destination , and back Monday . Replied that this is a plan , so ride is on again .
plan so far . long weekend 23-25 September , depart Jhb early Saturday morning some N3 then head for Clarence to have breakfast , via Goldengate - OliviersHoek pass - Winterton - Nottingham road for Pitstop . ( rest night)
Sunday 24 /9
Head to Howick , turn off N3 - Bulwer - Ixopo - Harding - Ramsgate ( rest night)
Monday 25/9
Head home N2 -N3 Breakfast along the way .
