Looking for a decent Dual Purpose bike

Hi guys

New to this forum and looking for a decent Dual Purpose bike to mostly use to graft and back
Will also use for occasional bush ride and week end away
Have had no bike for too long now! Had a couple XT's and other dirt bikes but sold all a while back

Looking for maybe a KLE500/KLR650 or GS650, Transalp or something in that range?

Any feedback from the wealth of experience here will be appreciated?
