Losper, I can't thank you enough for this trip!!!

Apart from my obvious lack of fitness and riding technique on the small bikes I, and Minxy, seriously enjoyed every minute of it.  I think we always knew that your perception of 'not technical at all' and our reality would differ considerably.  The challenge was however so rewarding and I think we both learned so much, and I think for a number of the other riders as well.  You are not a man of many words (Petrie made up for that one I guess ) but jeez, you make your actions speak.

I still cannot believe how flowing we moved through that incredible maze, only having to turn around a handful of times to attempt another angle.  I initially thought that other riders would soon lay their hands on the tracks and will go ride it on their own and Losper Adventures would loose it's appeal. I have some bad news for them as you need to have serious navigational skills to traverse those routes/tracks.

Poor Losper sometimes had to work like a dog getting some of us up and down some of the gnarly bits, pushing and pulling while still having to figure out the navigation - jy's n yster!  A big thanks also to Steve Lubbe and Pieter Lourens, your support crew for their assistance at the tail. [member=2767]dazed[/member]  (Dave), thanks for your efforts in assisting at the front and the non-stop humour you brought along (we will play some of your commentary with the video clips you made, it's hilarious).  The faffster (WD?) got the best commentary from you, especially during the drowning :lol8:

For the fellow and other non-dogs who joined in, it was really nice meeting all of you.  The guys on the Husky's, all I can say is, well done for hauling those big boys through that terrain.  Hopefully we can all hook up again on another ride.  Tony, you can ride my boy :thumleft:

Last but not least, I have to mention my other half [member=15496]Minxy[/member]  - the only girl (yes, a feminine one at that :)) between all the boys, giving her everything, never quitting, never complaining and always keen for more even after rolling down into a hole :imaposer:  I think all the guys on the trip have new respect for you :3some:

That's my side for now.  Whoever is keen for a nice challenge - JUST DO IT!!!!!

Well done Pieter

Thanks again [member=4807]Losper[/member] , this ride was all we could have hoped for and more! :D

It's not every weekend you get to ride old Roof of Africa Bronze routes, sandstone valleys, single track trails, riverbeds, gully's and rocky mountains. The scenery was absolutely stunning and it was just awesome getting off the beaten track and up close and personal with all the amazing terrain this place has to offer. There is no way you can simply "go to Lesotho" and ride this type of route. Losper you have outdone yourself! We thank you for all the time and effort you spent making this ride special for us. Other than picturesque landscapes we were even treated to seeing real dinosaur footprints embedded in the sandstone on the mountainside, definitely not something you see everyday!

No doubt the ride was challenging (we literally just got back from riding Van Zyls Pass etc in Namibia and nothing there came close in difficulty haha). Losper and team were super helpful though and someone was always there to lend a hand when needed (thanks guys!). We had a wonderful group of riders, all from different backgrounds, two of them on the bigger Husky's, I take my hat off to all of you guys, a wonderful group to ride with.

Furthermore it was extremely rewarding to ride our bikes in places we wouldn't have dared before, leaving our comfort zones far behind. Everyday it felt like I learned something new about pushing my, and my bikes limits. I have again gained even more respect for my 500 and what it can do, the only limitation at this stage is the rider ;D I won't give up my day job to become a hard enduro rider just yet, but heck I feel like I can give myself a pat on the back, this ride was a true adventure :ricky:

Hope to join you guys again sometime soon. Would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys a challenge and wants to see Lesotho up close and personal. An unforgettable experience  :thumleft:

Losper this looks simply awesome! Just the kind of riding I hope to do one day, and what I bought the 500 for. Thanks for posting this, and the feedback from the riders just makes me want to do it even more!

I hope you'll be posting/advertising upcoming rides on here often, I hope to be joining one for sure!

Well done, and also to all the riders!
