Bikes were loaded into vehicles and onto trailers and everything readied for our 3 am departure from Nelspruit. Due to work commitments most of us had very limited time to do this trip and our plan was to do the 1400km trip in one day to maximise riding time.

The trip down was an enjoyable one with lots of banter in the car and over two way radios.

We arrived at the beautiful Karoo View Cottages owned by @LLTHB late afternoon and readied our bikes for an early departure the next morning.
