Lunch at Patensie

[DRAZIL]

So on the spur of the moment (Saturday morning) my daughter and myself decided to join to friends(Bumface46 and Malcolm) who were testing the new S10 and a GS 1200.The test ground was the Elandsriver road up to the tower.
With the wind picking up we cruised the decent gravel highway up to the tower where the wind threw us around.
My daughter and I decided to part ways and go to Padlangs outside Patensie for brunch in a near gale which has just turned into a very hot berg wind.

Scenery in this area is awesome and you can see Jbays /Gamtoos surf from the top.

I did a solo to Patensie Sunday Morning. I took the Elandsriver road all the way to Patensie and the R102 back. Had to maneuver out of the way of a big bushbuck just after Offcamber. He was munching next to the road and was spooked when I approached.

Hi tornado, apologies for not coming back to you.

Yes it was me. You guys looked mighty relaxed so I didn’t want to bother. It was the first time I’ve done the Elands River the whole way from PE to Patensie. T’was a nice day for a ride.
