Lunch in Plett

I felt the need to go for a swim and posed the idea to Gromit who agreed, and we got Curlytop (Gromit’s better half) to Join as well as Super Mario on his brand new 800.

We left PE at 06h30 on the R102 through the Van Standens Pass to J Bay and Humansdorp and on to the Oude Bosch Farmstall near Kareedouw for breakfast.

We then went across to Kareedouw and slabbed it a section on the R62 through the Langkloof.

A little further we turned onto Gravel

Just before we went through a lovely valley I rode over a huge snake and turned back to take a photo but was to slow as he moved fast into the bush, At home I looked up in on of my books and identified it as a Cape Cobra, something I haven’t seen before in the bush, we normally see plenty Puff Adders.

Past the “Poor man’s Friend” which seemed to be cheap Accommodation.

We Turned off just after Oude Bosch and took the Gravel Highway towards Oyster Bay and onto Humansdorp
I unfortunately never took many pics on this road as I was enjoying it on the fast sections with Pea Gravel you can do awesome Power Slides out of the Corners especially with my smooth back tyre.
