... did that one solo in Mar.2010. That pass is always full of rocks. You need to stay clear from the side of those walls even it means riding in the oncoming lane where possible. Luckily you can see way up front for oncoming traffic.

Absolutely, this was my fourth trip, the last time I went I had to turn around due to the rain. I made it to the foot of the pass by the check point. It took me 4 hours to get back to the border. The roads are really treacherous in wet conditions. Not sure what its like in winter perhaps someone has insight to this?
