Makgadigadi pans Botswana

Can anyone share information on the condition of the Makgadigadi pans at the moment. I plan a trip there during the second part of March. Want to pitch a tent at the Baobabs...but with all the rain that fell, I am worried that it might be full of water, or mud at the moment.
