As I was about to leave DNA on Saturday I started chatting to a guy that was interested in buying a KLR. He said he was at Megabike and they are selling new '08 KLRs for R45k (parallel import). He was not sure whether to buy a second hand older KLR or a new one - I advised him to buy a new one as they are well worth the extra $.
Now having had first hand experience with the KMSA warranty process (luckily I ended up not having to claim) and seeing how many exclusions they have in there, if I knew then what I know now I would have bought one at Megabike.
