My wife and son are swimming Midmar this weekend. (I am available with sandwiches halfway, if they wish to deviate). We're camping at Wagendrift dam at Estcourt.
I'm considering cycling back to Estcourt on Saturday after their swim.
According to the map it looks possible to take the railway service road from Howick to Estcourt.
Can anybody maybe comment on the feasibility, as well as safety? (I try and avoid where the railway line passes through informalities when I'm alone on the bicycle).
