On his way to work he was slowly lane splitting when someone ran in between the cars, missinglink saw the person to late. He hit the person with left handlebar. Bike got thrown of line towards a car. Missinglink manage to but bike down on road but hit the car.
He is currently in Blouberg hospital. Will have a op tomorrow morning to see the extent of the damage in his left knee. The doctor said the leg is broken just above the knee and also under it. His knee is locked in a 40 degree angle to the outside. Sounds frikken sore to me. :eek7: He also broke a little tow. He is still trying to figure how that happened as there are almost no fall marks on the boots. :-\
Sounds like he will be on crutches for some time to come and no bike riding for a while.

PS: Hardly any damage to the bike. XR's are tough.
